Joseph Bernard Screening & Essay

I was invited by UltraDogme to curate a programme of films by the late, great Detroit filmmaker, Joseph Bernard. The six super-8mm films are available to stream via UltraDogme's online platform via their patreon. Five of these films are online premieres, unavailable to stream anywhere else. The files are from the original master scans.
I also wrote an essay as a primer for the screening , and to reflect on the renewed interest in super-8 and, by extension, other retrograde formats.
