Leaving the Remodernist Film Movement

In 2010 filmmaker Jesse Richards invited Dean Kavanagh to join the Remodernist film movement after watching his short film Poor Edward (2009) and selecting it as part of the Remodernist canon. Kavanagh contributed to the portmanteau feature film created by the Remodernist film movement, titled In Passing. After completing his segment which was titled Detritus, Kavanagh officially departed from the movement. The film premiered at the Quad Cinema in New York City on November 13th.
